Sahyog is overseeing and conducting health promotion and outreach for SEWA members, and will work to develop such programmes for other populations. The programmes aim to actively improve health outcomes in informal sector women workers with a focus on being community-owned & cost-effective through interventions focused on prevention, early detection, and high-quality management of NCDs. To this end, a cadre of grassroots leaders have been trained to become Health Ambassadors who are supported by digital/mobile tools for data collection. Additionally, Sahyog will plan and conduct health promotion outreach initiatives for other communities in collaboration with partner organizations.
Sahyog is synthesizing and disseminating nudge materials to increase awareness about healthy lifestyles and promote healthy practices (including creation of apps and integration of new technologies).
